Jerusalem, 7 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Air Force, guided by Military Intelligence, on Monday struck a petrochemical complex in Shiraz, Iran. The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said the complex is one of the few remaining in Iran that can produce materials essential for making explosives as well as for ballistic missiles.

In doing so, the IDF said it “deepened the damage to the regime’s military capabilities, with an emphasis on production capabilities of combat means that were based on the components in the plant.”

In parallel, the IDF struck what it described as an extensive site of the ballistic missile array in northwestern Iran. From this site, soldiers of the array launched dozens of missiles toward the territory of the State of Israel.

The site was attacked while Iranian soldiers and commanders of the missile array were operating within it to advance and execute terror actions against the State of Israel and additional countries.
