Jerusalem, 30 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The tourism industry has always been an integral part of the country’s economy, unfortunately, tourism dried up since the start of the war against Hamas in Gaza and, more recently, the country was closed to all air traffic entirely during the conflict with Iran. Now, Israel’s Ministry of Tourism is working to stimulate Israel’s tourism market, both domestic and international, kickstarting tourist sites like hotels, restaurants, nature reserves, and attractions across the country that are open to the general public.
The Ministry is investing many resources in the restoration and recovery of the industry, including through expanding accommodation options, investing in infrastructure, and collaborating with tourism entities in Israel and around the world.
The ministry calls on the Israeli public and tourists from abroad to come, travel and enjoy the wide cultural, historical and culinary diversity that Israel offers.
