Israeli Public Warned of Imminent Attack on the Country After Beirut Strike
The IDF is bracing for imminent rocket fire into Israel from Lebanon after a strike in Beirut, with the public urged to follow Home Front Command guidelines.
Jerusalem, 7 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Following the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) strike in Beirut and at the conclusion of a situational assessment, the IDF is preparing for incoming fire toward the territory of the State of Israel in the coming hours.
The IDF has bolstered its defensive components and is in a state of readiness and alertness for a range of scenarios in defense and offense. The Chief of the General Staff, Maj. Gen. Eyal Zamir, and IDF commanders are currently conducting situational assessments and closely monitoring developments.
The public is urged to remain vigilant, act responsibly, and adhere to the updated guidelines from the Home Front Command as they are issued from time to time.
