Jerusalem, 5 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli Navy carried out a strike in the Tripoli area, killing Wasim Attallah Ali, a Hamas commander responsible for training and military exercises in Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces said. The operation marks the first Israeli strike in the region since war with Iran began on Saturday.
