Border Police arrested a father and son in Qalqilya for operating a forgery lab producing fake permits for illegal entry into Israel.

Furthermore, according to the suspicion, these were permits disguised as medical treatments and humanitarian needs, including for medical committees at the National Insurance Institute. These forged permits were used by these Palestinians when entering Israel, and in practice, the suspects remained in the country’s territory illegally. Upon the exposure of the identities of the two, the investigation became overt, and yesterday, undercover Border Police fighters from Judea and Samaria operated covertly and staged a deal to purchase forged permits. Upon completion of the payment transfer to the suspects, the undercover officers, along with Samaria Special Patrol Unit officers and IDF forces, raided the location. In this raid, the forces uncovered a forgery lab including advanced technological equipment, printers, stamps, computers, and additional means used by them to create these forged documents. The two suspects in operating this lab, a father (64) and his son (25), residents of Qalqilya, were arrested by the forces and after their investigation at the police station, they were imprisoned.
