In the last 24 hours, IDF forces operating south of the Blue Line in southern Lebanon identified terrorists who violated the ceasefire understandings and approached the forces from the north of the Blue Line.

Accordingly, the IDF is authorized to take the necessary measures for self-defense against threats, while maintaining the security of the citizens of the State of Israel and the forces deployed in the field. Actions for self-defense and threat removal are not limited by the ceasefire. The IDF will not allow the endangerment of Israeli citizens and its combatants and will take all necessary actions to ensure their security. The IDF will continue to operate to clear the area under its control to remove any threat to the citizens of the State of Israel and its forces.
