473 People Without Visas Stopped at Ben Gurion Airport IN 2025

Israel's Ben Gurion Airport prevented 473 illegal entries in 2025, primarily citizens of Georgia, amid a significant surge in attempts.

Jerusalem, 1 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — In 2025, 473 people without the proper visas were prevented from entering Israel illegally at Ben Gurion Airport.

Among these, a large majority were citizens of Georgia, but citizens of Russia, Moldova, Armenia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Nepal, China, and others have also been stopped from entering the country.

Israeli authorities also reported that a large increase in infiltration attempts was recorded especially in the months of September and November.
