21 Countries Inspired by Israeli Breathing Project for Biological Pesticides
The Israeli Breathing Project, a biological pesticide initiative, has inspired 21 countries including Jordan and Morocco, promoting environmental cooperation.
Jerusalem, 14 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli Breathing Project for Biological Pesticides has become a leading international model, promoting regional cooperation and environmental sustainability.
The Israeli National Breathing Project is a massive agricultural initiative operated by the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel and The Israel Ministry of Agriculture Organic pest control The Ministry of Regional Cooperation. The project promotes natural biological pest control by building thousands of nesting boxes for owls and kestrels that naturally hunt field rodents The white-tailed deer – the silent predator that guards the fields.
Today, the Israeli initiative has become a role model and inspiration for 21 countries. Among the countries taking part in the project are Jordan, Morocco, Georgia and more.
“This is a clear expression of fruitful regional and international cooperation, bridging gaps and uniting countries around a common environmental goal,” said Israel’s Office for Regional Cooperation.
