Israel Police launches "Tnu'fa" project offering benefits like rent aid & study funding to boost police station strength.
Officers serving in selected stations and officers who will enlist in one of them will receive an effective, focused package of benefits tailored to the needs of the stations and officers, which will improve service conditions. Among the benefits to be provided within the framework of the project: extended rent assistance, funding for academic studies, couple’s vacation vouchers, funding for driver’s licenses, and parking arrangements for officers’ vehicles at the station. “The policewomen and policemen are the heart of the Israel Police. Through the ‘Tnu’fa’ project, we are providing a focused response to officers and stations facing a variety of challenges, out of a commitment to strengthen the field, invest in those serving, and create a framework that will help them choose the Israel Police and continue to grow within it. Strengthening the stations is strengthening service to the public – and this is the goal before our eyes,” said Police Commissioner, R.N.Z. Danny Levy.
