Israel Police Launches Tnufa Project to Boost Support at Select Stations
Israel Police Commissioner Danny Levy launched Project "Tnufa" to bolster select stations with enhanced benefits for officers, including rent aid and tuition.
Jerusalem, 24 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Police Commissioner Insp. Gen. Danny Levy has launched Project “Tnufa” (“Momentum”), an initiative designed to strengthen selected police stations coping with diverse challenges.
As part of the project, one station was selected from each Israel Police district. Officers serving at the chosen stations, along with recruits joining them, will receive a targeted benefits package tailored to the needs of both the stations and the officers, aimed at enhancing service conditions.
Benefits Under the project include extended rent assistance, tuition funding for academic degrees, vacation vouchers for couples, funding for driver’s licenses, and parking arrangements for officers’ vehicles at the stations.
