Jerusalem, 17 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli startup Niv-AI has emerged from stealth with $12 million in funding to address a growing power bottleneck in AI data centers, the company announced. Headquartered in Tel Aviv and founded by veterans of Israel’s elite intelligence and technology units, Niv-AI has developed a platform that uses high-frequency sensors and AI to optimize electricity use in GPU-heavy facilities.
The company says its system can unlock up to 30% of unused power capacity by predicting and smoothing millisecond-level power spikes, allowing operators to increase computing output without additional infrastructure. Backed by Israeli venture firms including Glilot Capital and Grove Ventures, Niv-AI plans to expand its engineering team and research lab in Tel Aviv.
