Jerusalem, 7 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Tel Aviv-based startup Tangos AI announced Tuesday that it has raised $20 Million in a seed funding round to expand its autonomous AI platform for financial crime investigations. The round was led by Israel’s Red Dot Capital Partners, with participation from additional investors including Venture Israel and Selah Ventures.

Founded in 2025 by entrepreneur Eyal Azoulay, Tangos develops AI agents designed to investigate compliance alerts, sanctions risks, fraud cases and hidden financial networks. The company’s leadership includes former U.S. Treasury officials, Israeli intelligence veterans and AI specialists. Tangos said its technology helps financial institutions and government agencies produce evidence-backed investigative reports faster and at greater scale.
