Jerusalem, 1 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said that in recent hours, Israel Air Force aircraft have been operating with air superiority over Tehran, attacking and destroying numerous targets. More than 700 sorties and thousands of munitions were dropped: “The Air Force paved the way to Tehran within 24 hours.”

Among the targets attacked: ballistic missile launchers, command centers, Iranian defense systems, and command centers of the Iranian terrorist regime.

The commander of the Israel Air Force’s 107th Squadron stated, “With every sortie we fly east, every attack on a target in attack or target awareness in defense, we know that our mission is important and reduces the threat to you, the citizens of Israel. We will continue to work to eliminate any threat, anywhere, whenever we are required.”

“At the same time, the air defense and control systems with the Air Force’s fighter jets and helicopters have successfully intercepted more than 50 unmanned aerial vehicles launched from Iran into Israeli territory since the beginning of the operation.”
