Over 50 Israel Air Force Jets Hit Iranian Centrifuge Production Site and More

Jerusalem, 18 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — As part of what the Israeli military described as the broader effort to undermine Iran’s nuclear weapons program, more than 50 Israel Air Force fighter jets completed a series of attacks on military targets in the Tehran area before dawn, including a centrifuge production site and several weapons production sites of the Iranian regime.

The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said the centrifuge manufacturing site was intended to allow the Iranian regime to expand the scale and rate of its uranium enrichment for nuclear weapons development.

“The Iranian regime is enriching uranium intended for nuclear weapons development,” said the IDF. “It should be emphasized that civilian nuclear development does not require enrichment at these levels.”

Weapons production plants were also attacked, including a site for the production of raw materials and components for the assembly of the surface-to-surface missiles that the Iranian regime has launched and continues to launch at the State of Israel.

In addition, sites for the production of systems and components for surface-to-air missiles designed to hit aircraft were attacked.
