Jerusalem, 24 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A police investigation found that weapons were being hidden in a business selling gold, located in the Palestinian town of Ad-Dhahiriya near Hebron. At noon on Tuesday, police raided the location and a suspect (35), who is a family member of the business’ owner, was arrested.

The Israel Police said the raid was a success thanks to “precise intelligence guidance regarding weapons held there illegally.”

During a search of the store, a hidden Glock pistol was found, along with two cartridges loaded with suitable ammunition.

Later, during a search on the upper floor of the business, a Beretta pistol was found, along with a cartridge loaded with suitable ammunition and another bag of ammunition containing dozens of bullets.
