“Roaring Lion” – Compensation Fund Activity in Handling Damage: Update and Number of Claims

The Compensation Fund is managing 655 war-related property damage claims across Israel, with 30 teams deployed and a new fast-track option for claims up to.

Teams from the Compensation Fund – Property Tax, accompanied by engineers and appraisers, have been present at the various incident sites since the beginning of the war, providing assistance to citizens whose homes and property have been damaged, in cooperation with representatives of the local authorities operating in the field.

As of this morning, 30 Compensation Fund teams are operating nationwide. 22 of the teams are located in the central region, and an additional 8 teams are operating in the northern region.

To date, 655 claims have been received at The Compensation Fund service centers since the beginning of the war, 523 for damage to structures, 64 for damage to contents and equipment, and 68 for damage to vehicles.

As of this morning, it is possible to submit a claim through a fast track for damage to structure and contents only, in an amount not exceeding 30,000 NIS. Under this track, approval of a claim may be granted without waiting for an appraiser, within up to seven days from the completion of the claim with all required details. So far, 10 claims have been submitted through this track.

Citizens whose homes or property have been damaged by missile fire may contact the Israel Tax Authority call center at *4954 to File an online claim- direct damages on the Israel Tax Authority website.
