Jerusalem, 11 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The government approved the national plan for the summer of 2026 with a total investment of approximately one billion Shekels ($330 million) for educational, academic, and social programs for Israeli students.
Approximately 90% of local authorities in Israel (231 authorities) have already registered to operate the national summer program. The program will expand educational, learning, and social services for Israeli students during the summer vacation.
The National Summer Program combines a variety of educational frameworks and activities, including the “Summer Vacation Schools,” the “Summer+” program, summer preparatory classes, enrichment activities, academic reinforcement, and customized social activities, with the aim of providing students with educational continuity, learning opportunities, and a meaningful experience even after the end of the School Year.
