Nukhaba Terrorist Cell Deputy Commander and October 7 Hostage Taker Eliminated in Gaza
The IDF announced the elimination of Yousef Aish Awad Ramchan, Nukhaba deputy commander and October 7 hostage taker, in central Gaza.
Jerusalem, 2 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that it eliminated Yousef Aish Awad Ramchan, deputy commander of the Nukhaba terrorist cell in Hamas. Ramchan took part in the abductions of Or Levy, Alon Ahal, Eliya (Eli) Cohen and the late Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who was murdered in Hamas captivity, who were taken hostage from the Armored Corps Unit at Re’im Junction in the October 7 Massacre.
In addition, during the war and recently, he promoted terrorist plots against IDF forces and citizens of the State of Israel, and therefore posed “an immediate threat” to Israeli forces operating in the Gaza Strip, said the IDF.
Ramchan was Killed in central Gaza on Monday.
