Hamas Financier Killed in Gaza Airstrike

Jerusalem, 28 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed on Thursday that Ihab Khrizim, the head of a central Hamas financial transfer network, was killed earlier this week in an airstrike in the Khan Yunis area of southern Gaza.

According to the IDF, Khrizim was responsible for transferring millions of dollars to Hamas’ military wing. The strike also killed Mohammed al-Habash, a commander in Hamas’ weapons production headquarters, who had been involved in manufacturing armaments throughout the war.

Separately, the IDF said it struck two Senior Hamas commanders on Wednesday evening in the Gaza Strip, including Ezz al-Din Beik, commander of the northern Gaza brigade, and Imad Aslim, deputy commander of Gaza City’s brigade and head of the Zeitoun Battalion.

On Wednesday, Israel also confirmed the killing of Hamas commander Mohammed Odeh, who was Eliminated in an airstrike 11 days after his predecessor, Izz ad-Din al-Haddad.
