Israeli Forces Eliminate Hamas Khan Yunis Area Tunneling Commander
The IDF reported eliminating Kamal Muhammad Hamdan Nagar, head of Hamas' Khan Yunis unit, in a precise strike last week, citing an immediate threat to forces.
Jerusalem, 28 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that in a “precise strike” in the Khan Yunis area in Gaza last week it eliminated Kamal Muhammad Hamdan Nagar, head of Hamas’ unit in Khan Yunis.
Throughout the war, and particularly in recent times, said the IDF, Hamdan Nagar attempted to advance terror plots against IDF units operating in the Gaza Strip and that he posed an “immediate threat” to its forces.
