Jerusalem, 6 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Rwanda’s Foreign Minister Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe is visiting Israel and met today, Monday, in Jerusalem with Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar.
Sa’ar said the two signed agreements to expand cooperation in development, innovation and education, and to strengthen the partnership between their nations.
“We are two nations with painful histories, remarkable resilience, and an unwavering determination to build a better future for our people,” said Sa’ar.
Earlier in the day, Minister Nduhungirehe Yad Vashem, Israel national Holocaust memorial, where he laid a wreath in memory of the victims of the Holocaust.
Yesterday, Nduhungirehe visited the Old City of Jerusalem and the Western Wall.
