Jerusalem, 19 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF destroyed overnight a weapons warehouse and a rocket launch shaft of the terror organization Hamas in northern Gaza Strip.
The attacked warehouse stored dozens of various types of weapons, including more than 20 mortar bombs, launchers, charges, Kalashnikov-type firearms, and additional combat equipment, claimed the IDF.
The rocket launch shaft and weapons were intended to strike IDF forces operating in the Yellow Line area and civilians of the State of Israel, and were destroyed to remove the threat.
The Yellow Line marks the areas where Israeli forces are continuing to operate under the Gaza ceasefire agreement: Israel controls everything to the east, north and south of the line and Hamas and other terrorists are prohibited from crossing it.
