Israeli Forces Eliminate Hezbollah Terrorists in Lebanon Who Posed a Threat to Them
Israeli forces eliminated five Hezbollah terrorists in Zoutar a-Sharqiya and another in the Ali Taher Ridge, neutralizing immediate threats to IDF operations.
Jerusalem, 25 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said earlier today (Thursday), an infantry unit, operating in Zoutar a-Sharqiya in southern Lebanon, identified five Hezbollah terrorists who posed a threat to Israeli Forces operating within the security zone there.
In a separate incident, IDF Commando Brigade Combat Team forces operating on the Ali Taher Ridge identified an armed Hezbollah Terrorist who posed a threat to its forces operating in the security zone.
Immediately following the identification, the Israel Air Force struck and ground forces fired at the terrorists and eliminated them to remove the threat.
The IDF stressed that its forces operating in the Ali Taher Ridge area are not allowing Hezbollah terrorists to exit the underground infrastructure there or move within the ridge area.
