Israeli Forces Eliminate Hezbollah Terrorists, Destroy More Terror Infrastructures
Israeli forces eliminated Hezbollah terrorists and destroyed significant terror infrastructure in southern Lebanon, including a headquarters in the Bint Jbeil.
Jerusalem, 27 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — IDF (Israel Defense Forces) units continue to destroy terrorist infrastructure and eliminate Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon.
On Sunday, elements of the IDF’s 98th Paratroopers Division identified three terrorists near the forward defense line in southern Lebanon, in the area where IDF forces are operating, in a manner that “posed a real threat.” Immediately after the identification and in what the Israeli military called a “rapid closure,” the Israel Air Force attacked and eliminated the terrorists to eliminate the threat.
(The forward defense line is the line established by the IDF in Lebanon ahead of the Ceasefire in order to push Hezbollah terrorists far back enough from northern Israel to deter continued rocket attacks.)
In addition, the IDF attacked several military structures used by Hezbollah that posed a threat to Israeli forces, including a structure that served as the organization’s headquarters in the Bint Jbeil sector and other military structures. After the attacks, secondary explosions were detected indicating the presence of weapons in the structures.
The IDF declared that it will “continue to act to counter threats against the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF forces, and acts in accordance with the directives of the political echelon.”
