An IAF aircraft, guided by forces of the Gaza Division (143), eliminated yesterday (Sunday) a terrorist from the Hamas terror organization who was advancing sniper attacks in the immediate timeframe against IDF forces operating in the southern Gaza Strip. The terrorist posed an immediate threat to IDF forces and was eliminated in a targeted manner to remove the threat. Prior to the strike, measures were taken to minimize harm to civilians, including the use of precision munitions and aerial observation. IDF forces under the Southern Command are deployed in the area according to the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
