Weapons, shekels seized near Nablus

Two suspects were arrested. District police officers continue to operate with determination and focus against the possession of illegal weapons, which could be used by criminal elements and terrorist elements to carry out criminal and hostile activity. Based on precise intelligence from Ariel Police Station officers in the Samaria region, IDF forces from the Samaria Brigade conducted a search in a residential home in the village of Qaryut, near Nablus. During the search, the forces located an M16 rifle, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, and 11 weapon magazines. In addition, cash amounting to over 100,000 NIS was seized at the scene. Two suspects, residents of the area, were arrested by the forces and transferred for investigation at Ariel Police Station.
