Israel's credit card purchases dipped 0.4% annually Feb-Apr 2026, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics, with notable increases in food and industrial.

Jerusalem, 2 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics released the data on credit card purchases by private consumers February-April 2026

Trend data in annual calculation (at constant prices):

A 0.4% decrease in total credit card purchases

A 1.0% decrease in purchases of other goods and services

A 6.8% Increase in food and beverage purchases (including food services)

A 3.2% increase in purchases of industrial products

A 7.9% decrease in service purchases
