Cyata Launches from Stealth with $8.5M to Tackle AI Agent Security Risks
Israeli cybersecurity startup Cyata launches with $8.5M to secure AI agent workforce. Control platform offers oversight for autonomous agents.
Jerusalem, 30 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli cybersecurity startup Cyata has emerged from stealth with $8.5 million in seed funding led by TLV Partners to secure the growing AI workforce. Founded by veterans of Unit 8200, Cellebrite, and Check Point, Cyata offers the first control platform for managing “agentic identities” — AI agents that can act autonomously within enterprise systems.
As AI agents gain capabilities to write code, access sensitive data, and trigger automated actions, Cyata provides critical oversight through real-time intent auditing, risk assessment, and human-in-the-loop access controls.
“AI agents are the biggest leap in enterprise tech since the cloud,” said CEO Shahar Tal. “We focus on the actors, not the models—because that’s where the risk lies.”
