Jerusalem, 8 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel launched airstrikes against Iranian miiitary targets in western and central Iran, the Israel Defense Forces said Monday morning.
Meanwhile, Israel’s Home Front Command tightened nationwide restrictions after Iran resumed missile fire on Sunday night, marking the first attacks since the ceasefire took effect.
Under the new guidelines, which remain in effect until further notice, all educational activities, including matriculation exams, are suspended. Gatherings are limited to 200 people outdoors and 500 indoors, provided a protected space can be reached during an alert. Workplaces may continue operating only if employees have access to a standard protected area.
The restrictions were announced as Iran renewed missile launches following threats from Tehran to retaliate for Israel’s strikes on Hezbollah targets in Beirut’s Dahiyeh district.
