Jerusalem, 28 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The project to upgrade and develop the parking lots at Rosh Pina Airport has been completed. As part of the project, the Airports Authority carried out a redesign of the parking areas, which increased the number of parking spaces for light aviation aircraft from 12 spaces to 26 spaces – a significant move that will improve operational capability and the level of service to airport users.
The project included re-stratification of extensions, marking of the positions in accordance with international standards, arrangement of an aircraft refueling position, and arrangement of a dedicated supply position for the firefighting squadron in case of emergency.
At the end of the works, the licensing procedures were completed, and the new extensions were approved for use by the Civil Aviation Authority.
