Master Sergeant Haim Kalomiti Killed in Terror Shooting Spree
Master Sergeant Haim Kalomiti, 55, was killed in a terror shooting spree Sunday morning in Tzur Natan, northeast of Herzliya, along the pre-1967 border.
Jerusalem, 7 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) revealed that Master Sergeant Haim Kalomiti, 55, from Tzur Natan, a spatial defense fighter in Battalion 8881, Ephraim Brigade, fell in an attack in Tzur Natan, northeast of Herzliya, along the pre-1967 border.
He was the person killed in Sunday morning’s terror shooting spree.
Kalomiti served within a regular army Brigade that defends such borderline towns.
In the incident in which he was killed, another reserve soldier was seriously wounded, the military security coordinator of Tzur Natan.
The soldier was evacuated to receive medical treatment at the hospital, and his family has been updated.
