Israeli soldiers shot down a drone carrying an FN MAG machine gun along the Egyptian border on Wednesday, the IDF announced.

Jerusalem, 21 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Soldiers along the Egyptian border downed a drone smuggling a machine gun, the Israel Defense Forces said on Wednesday.

According to the IDF, the gun seized in Tuesday’s incident was an FN MAG.
