Israel Defense Forces confirm aircraft are striking regime targets in Tehran for the first time since the war began.
Jerusalem, 1 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli aircraft are striking regime targets in Tehran for the first time since the war began, the Israel Defense Forces said.
“The Air Force, under the direction of the Intelligence Directorate, has now launched a broad wave of attacks against targets of the Iranian terrorist regime in the heart of Tehran,” the IDF said. “Over the past 24 hours, the Air Force has attacked extensively to create air superiority and open the way to Tehran.”
