Herzog Speaks With Municipal Leaders Following Iranian Missile Barrages

President Isaac Herzog briefed mayors of Rosh Ha-Ayin, Ramat Gan, and other cities on resident conditions and damage after Iranian missile barrages.

Jerusalem, 28 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli President Isaac Herzog spoke Saturday night with the mayors of several Israeli cities hit by missile fire from Iran, receiving updates on residents’ conditions and the damage caused.

The call followed attacks on Rosh Ha-Ayin, Ramat Gan, Bnei Brak, Modi’in, Tirat Carmel and the Arab city of Kafr Qasem. Herzog expressed support for local leaders, security forces and rescue teams, and urged the public to continue following Home Front Command safety instructions.
