Israeli authorities have identified the four victims recovered from a Haifa building destroyed by a rocket strike, facilitating their burial.

Disasters

Jerusalem, 6 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Police said the identification process for the four deceased victims of Sunday’s missile strike on Haifa has been completed.

Following their extraction from the rubble of a collapsed building, the four victims were brought to the Victims Concentration Station in Latrun in the afternoon, where Israeli Police, IDF (Israel Defense Forces), the Ministry of Interior, and the Ministry of Religious Services operate in collaboration.

At the site, the identification process was carried out by criminal identification police officers and volunteers from the police’s dental unit, and upon its completion, the victims were identified through dental records, and their details were transferred to a representative of the Ministry of Religious Services in order to bring them to a proper burial.

The rapid identification effort is intended, among other things, to provide a quick indication to the rescue forces at the destruction site, who are operating at the risk of their lives in order to extract all the injured.
