Despite Ongoing War with Iran, Israel Repairs Northern Gaza Water Line

Despite war and Iranian missile threats, COGAT facilitated repairs on a northern Gaza water line, restoring continuous operation and humanitarian aid.

Jerusalem, 9 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli agency COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories: Judea and Samaria and towards the Gaza Strip) reported that, despite the war and the security risks due to the Iranian missile threat, repair work was carried out on the northern Gaza Water Line in recent days. The faults were addressed and the line returned to continuous operation.

“We will continue facilitating humanitarian responses in all areas for the civilian population in Gaza,” said COGAT.
