Jerusalem, 9 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv said Monday morning that several wings of its “Rishonim” building were evacuated overnight as a precaution after concerns arose about possible infrastructure damage during nearby construction work. Hospital management said the decision followed a situation assessment and that repair work is expected to continue for several days. The hospital stressed that the building does not house inpatient departments.

The medical center said the incident will be investigated with the contractor, and apologized for the temporary inconvenience.
