Israel Police Commissioner vows impartial election integrity, detailing forces' zero-tolerance approach to sabotage and appointing new Legal Advisor.
In addition, he clarified that all forces and units have been instructed and will be instructed to act with determination to prevent violations of election law, and that the police will exhaust the law with zero tolerance towards any party that tries to sabotage the integrity of the process, in order to ensure that every citizen can exercise their right to vote safely. Further in his remarks, the Commissioner referred to the appointment of Superintendent Eran Nahon as the Legal Advisor to the Israel Police and clarified that he examined a series of worthy candidates and his decision to promote Superintendent Nahon to the sensitive position was made independently and based on professional and substantive considerations.
