Second working meeting between the Police Commissioner and heads of authorities from the Arab sector. The Police Commissioner, Commissioner Raanan Levy, held a second working meeting today with heads of authorities from the Arab sector.

The meeting was attended by R’ AHM, Commissioner Boaz Balat, R’ AKM, Commissioner Ran Levi, the officer in charge of crime in the Arab community, Commissioner Maoz Ben Shabo, and Head of Intelligence, Superintendent Oshri Abuksis. Following up on the previous meeting, key issues were discussed, including the fight against organized crime, and improving and making services accessible to citizens in the Arab community, such as the Protection Unit in Lahav 433, which opened branches in the North and South. The Commissioner emphasized the Police’s commitment to acting decisively and in cooperation with local leadership, while listening to the needs arising from the field. The heads of the authorities welcomed the continuation of the meetings and the direct dialogue with the Commissioner and the Police command. The Israel Police will continue to work with all relevant parties to strengthen the personal security of Israeli citizens.
