Two suspects were arrested in Paris Square. Forces pushed back demonstrators who tried to block the traffic artery and returned them to the designated protest area. Forces operating at the scene located two demonstrators in possession of projection equipment, which, according to a complaint received by the police, was used to harass residents of the area by projecting visuals onto building walls. After refusing to be detained, the two were arrested and transferred for investigation at the Moriah station. The projection equipment was seized. Concurrently, forces are operating at the Mayor’s residence area against an illegal disturbance of the peace. After an officer announced for the disturbers of the peace to leave the area, police officers pushed back the disturbers of the peace and restored public order.
Jerusalem District police officers and Border Police fighters are currently operating at two protest sites in the city.
