Terrorist Who Killed Maj. (res.) Itamar Sapir Eliminated in Lebanon
The IDF confirmed the terrorist who killed Maj. (res.) Itamar Sapir has been eliminated by tank fire and airstrike in southern Lebanon.
Jerusalem, 27 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) has confirmed that the terrorist who killed Maj. (res.) Itamar Sapir was eliminated by tank fire and a targeted airstrike by the Israel Air Force, after he was identified as entering a building in the area of a church.
Maj. (res.) Itamar Sapir, 27, was the deputy commander of a company in an anti-tank battalion of a reserve paratroopers brigade, and was killed More Than a week ago.
The IDF said that the as of yet unidentified terrorist was eliminated in the Kawza area in southern Lebanon, immediately after Sapir was killed.
