Sergeant Major (res.) Alexander Glovanyov Killed by Hezbollah Drone

Jerusalem, 11 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) revealed that Sergeant Major (res.) Alexander Glovanyov, 47, from Petah Tikva, a lead vehicle driver in the 6924th Transport Battalion, was killed in combat on Sunday near the Lebanese border.

Glovanyov was killed when a drone launched by Hezbollah exploded within Israeli territory.
