Jerusalem, 13 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Early this morning, Palestinians broke into the extension of the Tzur Levavi farm and stole a herd of (about 120) sheep and fled in a vehicle. The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) has now confirmed that one Palestinian was killed as a result of rioting during the ensuing attempts to recover the sheep.

After the theft, Israeli security forces rushed to the area of the village of Jaljulia located near Ramallah, following a report of a number of Israeli citizens who had entered the area of the village after they followed the tracks of the sheep from Tzur Levavi, an illegal outpost located in Area A, which is under the full control of the Palestinian Authority.

Upon arriving there, IDF and Border Police forces worked to remove all Israeli citizens from the village, prevent friction in the area, and remove the sheep.

A number of suspects in the theft of the sheep were arrested by the forces and transferred to the police in the Shi’a district for further treatment.

As they were leaving the village, a violent disturbance developed, including stone-throwing. The force responded with measures to disperse the demonstrations and firing at key instigators.

It is known that there are a number of suspects injured and one killed by the forces’ fire.

The incident is being investigated.
