Jerusalem, 12 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Several Hamas terrorists who kidnapped and held Israeli civilians’ captive on October 7 were eliminated in Gaza by Israeli forces, reported the IDF (Israel Defense Forces).
Yesterday (Saturday), the forces eliminated a squad of armed Hamas terrorists who approached the Yellow Line and were planning to carry out terrorist attacks against IDF forces operating in the central Gaza Strip in the immediate future.
After an intelligence investigation, the IDF determined that the attack eliminated Ali Sami Muhammad Shakra, commander of the Nakbah Department in Hamas, who invaded the territory of the State of Israel in the murderous massacre on October 7 and took part in the kidnapping of the late Hirsch Goldberg-Polin, Alon Ohel, Elia Cohen and Or Levi from the Migonit Re’im.
The attack also eliminated additional Hamas Nakbah terrorists, including terrorists who were working to launch rockets towards Israeli territory.
The Yellow Line marks the areas where Israeli forces are continuing to operate under the Gaza ceasefire agreement: Israel controls everything to the east, north and south of the line and Hamas and other terrorists are prohibited from crossing it.
