Israel Strikes Two Hamas Terrorists in Deir al-Balah, Eliminates October 7 Infiltrator
The IDF struck two Hamas terrorists in Deir al-Balah, Gaza, eliminating an October 7 infiltrator planning attacks against Israelis.
Jerusalem, 24 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) struck two Hamas terrorists overnight Monday in the Deir al-Balah area of central Gaza, eliminating Mohammad Abd al-Nasser Jabr Abu Asaad, a Nukhba Terrorist Who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 attack.
The IDF said the terrorists had recently been planning attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and were attempting to rehabilitate the terror organization’s capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire agreement. The strike was carried out to remove the threat.
IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue operating to remove any immediate threat.
