Jerusalem, 24 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Troops from the IDF’s (Israel Defense Forces) Paratroopers Brigade completed a three-month defensive mission clearing the Yellow Line area of terrorist infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, and are transitioning to operations in Judea and Samaria.
During the operation, troops, together with the Yahalom combat engineering unit, dismantled and sealed underground tunnels totaling 13 kilometers in length, including part of the tunnel where Lt. Hadar Goldin was held.
The troops dismantled numerous terror infrastructure sites and located weapons used by Hamas, including RPG rockets, mortar shells, grenades, missile launchers, and ammunition. Troops also established new routes and military posts to strengthen the area’s defensive posture.
