Israel Kills Two Islamic Jihad Commanders Planning Attacks
The IDF confirmed killing two Islamic Jihad commanders, Iyad Nabal and Ahmed Ma’ruf, responsible for rocket attacks, in a strike on Monday.
Jerusalem, 9 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Two Palestinian Islamic Jihad commanders planning to carry out attacks in the “immediate future” were killed in a strike, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed on Tuesday.
The IDF identified the two killed in Monday’s strike as Iyad Muhammad Abd al-Aziz Nabal and Ahmed Abd al-Hamid Hamed Ma’ruf. Both were responsible for firing rockets at troops and into Israel.
