Four More Gaza Terror Tunnels Destroyed
The IDF announced the destruction of four Gaza tunnels, totaling approximately four kilometers, used for hostage infrastructure and Hamas command posts.
Jerusalem, 11 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that it destroyed four underground tunnels with a total length of approximately four kilometers that were located in the southern Gaza Strip, east of the Yellow Line.
One of the tunnels was part of a group of tunnels that were used as infrastructure for holding hostages after October 7. In addition, sleeping quarters were located in the tunnels that were used by the senior echelons of Hamas’s Khan Yunis Brigade.
The Yellow Line marks the areas where Israeli forces are continuing to operate under the Gaza ceasefire agreement: Israel controls everything to the east, north and south of the line and Hamas and other terrorists are prohibited from crossing it.
