Israeli Military Confirms Elimination of Hamas Terrorist Who Took Mia Schem Hostage on October 7
The IDF has confirmed the elimination of Hamas terrorist Ibrahim Abu Sukkur, who abducted Mia Schem during the October 7 massacre.
Jerusalem, 7 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Following an intelligence probe, the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) confirmed the elimination of a terrorist who participated in the abduction of Mia Schem during the October 7 massacre.
Last week, the IDF announced that its forces eliminated the terrorist Ibrahim Abu Sukkur, who belonged to the Hamas terror organization and led numerous terror attacks against its forces and civilians of the State of Israel, while simultaneously serving as a paramedic in the Gaza Strip.
It has now been determined that Abu Sukkur infiltrated the territory of the State of Israel during the murderous massacre on October 7 and participated in the abduction of Mia Schem from the Mefalsim area.
Mia Schem was abducted on October 7 after attending the “Nova” music festival near Kibbutz Re’im, and was returned as part of Operation “Gates of Heaven” in November 2023.
