Drones from Lebanon Shot Down Before Crossing Into Israeli Airspace
The Israel Air Force successfully shot down drones launched from Lebanon before they crossed into Israeli airspace near the Misgav Regional Council.
Jerusalem, 5 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Following the alerts activated regarding the infiltration of a hostile aircraft into the Misgav Regional Council airspace near the border with Lebanon, the Israel Air Force successfully intercepted several aerial Targets in the area where IDF (Israel Defense Forces) units are operating in southern Lebanon, before they crossed into Israeli territory.
The alerts were activated in accordance with policy.
